BLACKHAWK REVOLVER. Cal. 44 Mag. S# 566. Bbl. 7 1/2" with serrated blade on ramped base; proper "Micro" marked frame mounted adjustable rear sight. Mfg. 1959 (1959-1973) as Model S47 having eagle logo near barrel address (without "INC."). Noted Ruger references state that long framed variations were numbered 4 to 1463; approximately 300 units. Standard features of wide spur hammer, wide serrated trigger, unfluted counterbored cylinder and long Dragoon style grip frame having varnished walnut grips with black eagle medallions plus proper stamping of "C" on backs. Does not have factory safety update parts; original lockwork. CONDITION: some very slight thinning at high points and light beginning cylinder turn line. Bright shiny bore with traces of lead residue near breech end. Very good to excellent grips of nice figure having extremely faint handling marks. (26-1091/NW). CURIO. $1,000-1,500.
